Routine or long-standing prescriptions can be repeated and obtained via reception, or can be set up as a request from the pharmacist. You can indicate which medication you require on the computer slip and then hand in to reception
We will provide repeat prescriptions within 72 hours.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). Prescription requests must be submitted in writing to the Practice. Alternatively you can contact your Pharmacist to make the request on your behalf.
Please note that we will only fax prescriptions to pharmacies if the need is clinically urgent
