Maybury Surgery goes paperless as per NHS directive 

Please note all prescriptions are now electronic 

New Prescriptions - All prescriptions will be electronically sent to the pharmacy of your choice.  The Doctor Please be aware there is a 72 hour lead time. 

Repeat Prescriptions - 

Please give your print-out to the surgery - you can either:

  • hand it in at reception (or leave it in box provided),
  • pop it through our letterbox,
  • ask your pharmacist to request for you 
  • please be aware it can take up to 72hrs from the time your request your repeat prescription 

Registered patients can order prescriptions online

Patients must now register with Patient Access in order to use the online prescription service. If you would like to order your repeat prescriptions online please contact the surgery and ask to be signed up. The receptionist should be able to provide you with a full instruction letter and PIN on seeing proof of your identity (photo ID please).

Please note that online prescriptions are only available for patients over the age of 16. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience but there are strict rules regarding confidentiality of data.

Patients registered online will be able to view a summary of their medical record. The summary is limited to any allergies together with repeat and recent acute medication.

Annual Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
