The Admin team carries out much of the organisation which underpins patient care. It is vital that the admin team send letters or reminders for chronic illness management as well as ensure that patient data eg addresses and phone numbers are kept up to date.
All practice staff are available to help with enquiries and administration and will respect the confidentiality of all patients at all times. For this reason they will not be able to discuss personal details with anyone other than the patient concerned. Practice staff is also able to communicate with patients in the following languages: Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Czech.

Reception staff oversees the smooth running of reception and supervises the team. They will endeavour to help you receive the best possible service from the practice. In order to do this they sometimes need to judge the urgency of your request and may need to ask you a few questions. Please rest assured that the rules of confidentiality apply equally to all practice staff. A brief explanation of your problem may enable them to help you.

|Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.|
|Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.|
